Free Movie Night at Sustainable Alternatives Wed March 4th Featuring "King Corn"

Where: 101 North Woodrow, Little Rock (the big green house at Markham & Woodrow)

When: 7-8:30p.m., Wed. March 4th

Join us for a free movie screening of "King Corn." This film is good for all ages and runs 90 minutes. Two college friends trace their roots to Iowa and grow an acre of corn, learning all about where and how it will be used, exploring issues including: genetically modified organisms, high fructose corn syrup and industrial agriculture in the USA.

Bring your own beverages, and we will have popcorn. We also have a full kitchen if you want to bring your dinner or snacks. Donations are welcome and all donations enable us to keep the lights on and keep screening films throughout 2009.

Parking is limited. Please consider riding the bus, walking, bicycling or carpooling. Park on Woodrow or in our backyard, which is a parking lot.
