Public Meeting on Future of Lake Maumelle Development and Drinking Water Quality

When: Wednesday, Feb. 18th, 6-8 p.m.

Where: Terry Library Branch, 2015 Napa Valley Drive, Little Rock, 72212

Please join Kate Althoff for an update on issues concerning Lake Maumelle and our drinking water supply. Central Arkansas Water (CAW) serves over 400,000 individual water users and this is a critical time in determining the future of development impacting the lake. Several major decisions will be made by the CAW board and the Pulaski County Quorum Court in a few months.

Kate has been involved with development of the Watershed Management Plan and has been a tireless advocate for encouraging CAW and others to make wise choices for the future, along with many other citizens and community leaders.

The purpose of this meeting is to be informed - we wish to offer education about the facts and simply enable central Arkansans to be educated about the future of their drinking water supply.

Space is limited, so please RSVP to Kate Althoff at

Kate is also willing to speak to any size group at any central Arkansas location. Please email her if you desire to assemble a group, whether it is 2 or 200 people.
