The event, which is coordinated by the Mayor’s Commission on Sustainability, will feature exhibits, workshops, vendors, networking opportunities and two keynote speakers. The Conway Department of Planning and Development is currently drafting a Brownfield grant proposal requesting assistance from the EPA.

The Brownfield’s Grant Program provides resources to aid in the assessment and cleanup of Brownfield properties.  A Brownfield is defined as: abandoned, idle, or underused industrial and commercial areas where expansion or redevelopment is complicated by real or perceived environmental contamination.
