Hello!
My name is Katherine Dennis and I am a Hendrix College student. A few students and I are working on expanding the current >organic garden we have here on campus. We conducted a soil test in order to find out what we should add to the soil to make it most productive. From that, we determined we need aged horse manure and compost. We also are looking for bamboo posts to act as trellises for our plants.
Do you have any sources of aged horse manure, compost, or bamboo we could get in contact with? Read more »

Came across your blog post about the young social change activists and I feel you'd be perfect to help us find a local correspondent in Arkansas. We hire young writers (late high school through post-grad) to be environmental bloggers, through our Local Reports internship program. The positions are unpaid but participants gain invaluable experience writing, photographing, videoblogging and reporting. Read more »
